The experiment to evaluate the effects of potassium fertilizers on the growth, development, and quality of orange trees was conducted in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province, from 2021 to 2022. Three types of potassium fertilizers were experimented in the field by randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications including potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, and potassium nitrate. The amount of potassium fertilizer provided to one tree was 1.8kg of K20. The results showed that the different potassium fertilizers had different effects on orange yield and quality. Applying the K2SO4 fertilizer to the BH orange variety gave an increase in fruiting rate (reaching 2.3%), productivity (reaching 24.43 tons/ha), sweetness (Degrees Brix reaching 11.2%), and net profit (reaching 185,852,500 VND/ha).
